The concept of “Zero Semester” is introduced to help students who wish to enroll in the Virtual University for diploma programs, associate degrees or 4-year bachelor’s programs. This option is specifically designed for students who have the required qualifications but have not achieved the required marks, such as less than 45% marks or a CGPA lower than 2.0 out of 4.

- Purpose of Semester Zero: The main purpose of Semester Zero is to provide support to individuals who wish to join the Virtual University for various academic programs.
- Eligibility Criteria: This option is especially for those who are suitably qualified but underperforming in terms of academic performance, with marks below 45% or CGPA below 2.0 out of 4.
- How Semester Zero Works: By enrolling in Semester Zero and successfully completing the completion requirements of 2.0 CGPA out of 4.0, a student is eligible to enroll in the Virtual University. If they meet these requirements, they will be eligible for admission to their desired undergraduate programs at the Virtual University.
- Entry Fee: Entry fee is Rs 8,600
- Duration: This is a one semester (18 week) program.
