The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has launched a degree verification system that is completely online and paperless, so you do not need to visit the HEC office or submit hard copies of original documents. This complete degree verification process includes the following 4 basic steps:
Step 1: Submission of Online Application To complete this stage you need to do the following:
- Banana Account (Login/Register): First www.eservices.hec.gov.pk new users create an account via “Register” and log in for previously registered users. Then select “Degree Certification” from the left menu.
- Personal information (personal details): Enter your name, date of birth, date of birth, gender, marital status, address, etc. Remember, this information should be absolutely consistent with your ID card (CNIC) and education documents, otherwise the verification process will not start.

- Certification details: Select the required documents (degree, transcript, provisional certificate or HEC equivalent). The system will automatically calculate the fee for the selected files.
- File upload: Upload clear scanned copies of all relevant educational documents on both sides of your identity card (CNIC) (आगजे उर जज़) अर मेत्रक से लेख कर अध्य तक की अग्र कुई दिगर अच्चर देखें हून हौन तु “Other documents”
- Verification details: Double check all entered information and uploaded files. Once you’re sure, click the commit’s checkbox.
- Payment: The verification fee for each document is Rs. 3,000. Click “Proceed to Pay” to obtain your consumer number and pay online through 1-Link (1-Bill). After payment, click “Verify Payment”, after which your request will be automatically submitted to HEC.
Step Two: HEC Review
- HEC App will verify your personal information through NADRA (NADRA) and verify that all required documents are complete.
- For PhD cases, the name of the degree holder will be checked against the National Directory of PhD degrees.

Step Three: University Verification The concerned university will check your educational certificate from its official records and send its verification to HEC.
Step 4: Issue electronic certification certificate Upon receipt of confirmation from the university, HEC will conduct a final review and review as per policy Electronic certification certificate You will be notified via SMS and email after which you will be able to download this certificate from your HEC portal account.
Some important notes:
- The photo copy is now verified.
- Files will not be verified for cuts, erasures, or any type conversions.
